Howdy y'all! Ok, enough of that, Shannon has been teasing me lately because she says I am starting to talk with a southern twang... it's her fault tho, she is the one who moved me here to Tennessee. Anyway, there has been an incredible doll influx here lately, but I have been informed that half of them are not staying, so I can handle that. We have all been really busy, Shannon is gearing up for some HUGE stuff going on with Gwynn and the other Brownies at the end of the year, Gwynn is just looking forward to summer break. Eddie has figured out how to hold me without tearing at my hair so I have been playing with him more lately. Barry, Shannon's husband, is just ready for the re-arranging to be finished.

On that note, Shannon is setting up a bed in her room for me, so I can sleep with her instead of in Gwynn's room with Bea, Ericka, Annalise, Meg and Julie. When we get it set up, I will post pictures. Shannon also said that this summer she will be setting up a kitchen/dining room, a multi-girl bedroom, and a living room for Gwynn's girls. I figure I will visit and use the kitchen/dining and living rooms, but I get my own bedroom cause I am special.

Shannon has been cleaning alot lately, so I have been hiding in my room. Barry's mom is coming to visit this weekend, so she wanted to get the house all clean, I think it is a lost cause, but I don't want to tell her that. I really wish there was more to say, life has just been really slow and not terribly exciting here lately. Shannon Finally finished her surprise for Goo, so I sent it off to Liz and her crew, I hope they liked it all, I sure enjoyed helping with it all.

Alright, I am going to go watch pirates with Eddie again, I think he wants to be Jack Sparrow when he grows up.

TOday has been more of the same, sometimes this house is just so boring!! Tomorrow is back to the normal routine, tho, so we should be getting lots more work done. Gwynn's spring break is over so it will be quieter around here again. I wish I had more to say, but the only interesting things going on here are secret, so they have to wait.

Trips, Visitors, Surprises and new dolls

This has been a sad week in Shannon's house. Barry's (Shannon's husband) aunt died at the beginning of the week. Apparently when Shannon and Barry were first dating, they went on a road trip and stopped in to see that aunt and uncle and they gave Shannon their approval immediately, so she felt close to them. We are all very sad that she is gone. Since Shannon's puppy was very sick and wouldn't eat for almost a week, she stayed home to keep an eye on him while Barry went to the funeral.

Gwynn, Shannon's daughter, spent her spring break away from home too, so Shannon, Eddie (the baby) and I were home alone for almost 2 days. Now Gwynn is home, Barry is back and his parents were here for the day (they live in FL so they had to fly in and decided to visit with us while they were close-by).

Shannon has been working hard on surprises for a few people, some online and some offline. I can tell when she is working hard because her sewing area becomes a mess and she starts talking to herself. I have gotten to play with some of the things she is working on, but she won't let me post pictures until after they are sent and received so they surprise isn't ruined. Usually I don't have a problem with secrets, but I do like to show off and I can't do that right now either, so that makes it harder to stay quiet.

To finish this post I will make the announcement that we will most likely be getting new girls here for Easter. If Shannon's ebay sales go well enough, she is going to get a couple of cute little girls for Gwynn to play with... She calls them Bitty Twins for now because we don't know their names yet. I am looking forward to having little people to do my bidding.

It's been a long day

The fact that it is now 5am and we are still up should attest to that fact. I got to model some for Shannon today, but it wasn't anything fun or creative. I like it when she makes new clothes or we go places for the modeling shoots. Today she just told me to stand by her new wagon and look pretty. *sigh*

The house has been way too quiet. Shannon's daughter is spending spring break with Shannon's mom (and her doll, Bernadette, that Shannon gave her for Christmas) and this morning Shannon's husband left with his parents to go to his aunt's funeral so it has been just us and the baby. Actually there was a wind storm earlier and the noises freaked Shannon out so she called up her friend Beth and invited her to come spend the night... Shannon can really be a wuss sometimes, but I think part of that is because we live in the "safe part" of a less than friendly city.

Beth doesn't know it but Shannon and I are working on getting her a special doll. Beth really likes Harry Potter, so we are making her a Hermione doll. I know she will like her!!

Shannon is working hard on a couple of projects right now, I keep seeing doll sized clothes but she hasn't let me wear any of them yet so I don't know for sure who or what they are for. I hate having to be patient but it does no good to ask her when she is being secretive.

That is all for now, I am going to try to sleep, Beth is in Shannon's daughter's room, where my bed currently is, so I guess I am sleeping on the love seat tonight, I hope the baby settles soon and doesn't keep me up. *yawn* night all

*eta* I tried to post this at 5am, but Shannon's (*#@(*&#$@)(*#@$ computer blue screened... again.

Hi, my name is Jessie, and the world will eventually bow to me. Don't worry, I won't expect this of the people I consider worthy (also known as my friends). I consider myself artistic and creative, tho I am also lazy and my favorite hobby is procrastinating... so I may get around to showing you what I mean, and I may not... guess we shall see. I don't want to make this a huge post and I think you will get to know me better as my journal grows, so I will post this now and do more later.
